A worked example
Say you take a task at $0.50 per 1000 views and cut a stream clip. The clip reaches 30,000 counted views, above the threshold. The maths: 30,000 / 1000 * $0.50 = $15 for one submission. Why this is safe
The platform works as intermediary and guarantor. The buyer freezes the budget when creating the task: the money sits on the platform and cannot be pulled back before the contest ends. Views are counted by the platform through the platforms' APIs, not by the buyer by hand. The payout goes around the organizer, who cannot hold it up. This is not "take our word for it", it is a mechanic in which the buyer physically cannot avoid paying for the views you earned.
