Prizes and payouts
DareBay is simple. You launch a task, people make their content, and the winners get their reward for it. The money is protected from minute one: the platform takes the prize pool into its own hands the moment the contest is published and releases it to the winner on a confirmed result. The organizer cannot change their mind, and the participant cannot be left unpaid. That is how it always works, and it cannot be switched off.
Where it works
DareBay opens in two places, and both are equal:
- On the web at darebay.com, right in the browser.
- In Telegram: the app, the bot and the group.
Same DareBay, two equal doors.
What you can put up as a reward
A reward is one of two things: money or an item.
Money reaches the winner by any of these routes, and every one of them works today:
- Wallet (USDT on TON).
- Bank card.
- Bank transfer.
- Telegram Stars.
- Telegram gifts.
An item is described in text ("a signed vinyl", "a weekend in Krakow"). The handover is arranged between the organizer and the winner. DareBay does not hold the item itself, but it does make sure the promise is kept.
You can mix methods across places. For example: $500 to a card for 1st place, a signed book for 2nd.
Balance and topping up
Every DareBay account has a balance. You top it up with a card, by bank transfer or from a wallet (USDT on TON). All of that works today.
The balance is shown in whichever currency you picked for display, and it is held in the one you put in. Conversion happens only where it is genuinely needed, with no hidden operations.
The prize pool gets locked
When you publish a contest, the reward leaves your available balance for a locked state tied to that contest. Locked money cannot be spent on anything else, pulled back or recalled: it already belongs to the result. That is why participants can see the reward is really there and get to work.
Cancel the contest before it starts and the lock comes off: the funds return to your available balance (minus the commission already taken, see commission).
Commission
The organizer pays the commission, once, when creating the contest. The rate is set by the payment method, and you see the exact amount in your currency before you confirm. Nothing is deducted from the winner's payout: they receive the full prize, and entering and withdrawing cost them nothing. Rates and the promo for early organizers: commission.
Paying the winners
The contest is over, the result is confirmed:
- Money moves from the contest lock onto the winner's balance, and they take it out the way they prefer: wallet, card, bank transfer, Telegram Stars, a gift.
- Items and gifts: both sides get a notification, and the organizer hands the reward over within the agreed time.
Nobody has to ask, chase or wait on an organizer's goodwill. The money has been sitting on the platform since publication, and the payout follows an independently counted result.
Why the money gets there
DareBay acts as intermediary and guarantor. The reward sits on the platform from the moment the contest starts and goes to the winner on an independently counted result rather than on anyone's mood. There is nobody left to cheat: the organizer no longer holds that money, and the winner already does.
The wallet (USDT on TON) is simply one way of getting paid here, alongside a card, a bank transfer, Telegram Stars and gifts. You do not need to understand crypto to collect your winnings.
