Prizes and payouts on DareBay: how they accrue and arrive

Prizes and payouts on DareBay: money or an item as the reward, where the budget sits in a wallet-backed contest, and what happens once the result is in.

Read the size of a prize second and what backs it first: that is what decides whether you wait calmly or keep an eye on the organizer. A reward on DareBay is one of two things - money or an item - and the contest decides which method it is delivered through. This page is the catalogue: what you can put up, how balances and funding modes work, and what happens at the end. The chain itself is short: the budget is recorded when the contest publishes, the result is confirmed, and a credit or payout obligation gets a status. Moving the money is a separate stage done by the team.

Where it works

DareBay opens in two places, and both are equal:

  • On the web at darebay.com, right in the browser.
  • In Telegram: the app, the bot and the group.

Same DareBay, two equal doors.

What you can put up as a reward

A reward is one of two things: money or an item.

A particular contest can define one of these reward methods:

  • Wallet (USDT on TON).
  • Bank card.
  • Bank transfer.
  • Telegram Stars.
  • Telegram gifts.

An item is described in text ("a signed vinyl", "a weekend in Krakow"). The handover is arranged between the organizer and the winner. DareBay never holds the item, so what it can offer here is the record: the obligation, its status and the organizer rating that a failure to deliver damages.

You can mix methods across places. For example: $500 to a card for 1st place, a signed book for 2nd.

Balance and topping up

Every DareBay account has a balance. The funding screen shows its available options, which can include a card, bank transfer or USDT on TON.

The balance is shown in whichever currency you picked for display, and it is held in the one you put in. Conversion happens only where it is genuinely needed, with no hidden operations.

Wallet-backed and manual-payout contests

In a wallet-backed contest, the reward leaves the organizer's available balance for a locked state tied to that contest. That locked money cannot be spent elsewhere. In a manual-payout contest, no money enters DareBay and the platform wallet is not involved: the organizer pays creators directly using the payout details and statuses recorded by DareBay. Check the funding mode on the contest before participating.

For a wallet-backed contest cancelled before it starts, the lock comes off and the funds return to the available balance. Contest creation and budget top-ups currently carry no fee.

What it costs to run one

Creating a contest and topping up its budget currently carry no fee. Entry is free. After a reward is credited, withdrawing an available balance is a separate request with a 10 USDT minimum, a 10% fee deducted inside the request and processing by the team. See current fees.

Paying the winners

The contest is over, the result is confirmed:

  • Money is calculated from the result. In wallet-backed flows the amount is credited to the balance; in manual-payout contests the platform records the obligation and payout details for fulfilment.
  • Items and gifts: both sides get a notification, and the organizer hands the reward over within the agreed time.

The amount follows an independently counted result. Fulfilment is done by the team and no settlement date is promised: follow the status and payout details in DareBay, and contact support@darebay.com if it stops moving.

Reward method is not a withdrawal rail

These two get confused, and the confusion costs people time. The list above is what a contest can define as its reward. Getting a credited balance out of the platform is a narrower door: the withdrawal wizard offers USDT to an external wallet and Telegram Stars, and the form shows the option available to you. A card, a bank transfer, a gift or an item can be the reward of a particular contest and is fulfilled separately, not by pressing withdraw.

No followers, no application. The budget is locked on the platform before you start; views are counted independently.
