How to choose a clipping platform: nine questions before your first clip
You pick a clipping platform by nine questions, not by the advertised rate, and the answers are either on the platform's pages or they are not. Below is each question, what matters in the answer, and which platforms publish it. The full table is at the bottom to check against.
Question 1. Can the platform pay to my country?
The fastest way to waste time is to cut ten clips for a platform that cannot pay you. Whop keeps a sanctioned-country list with Russia, Belarus and Ukraine; Vyro keeps an unsupported list with Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Georgia and Moldova. DareBay states that it pays in any country with no exclusion list; Prime Oracles and Klipni list the countries they serve. Clipping.net, Vues, Reach.cat and Clipping.io publish no country list: that is not a "no", but it is a question for support before your first clip.
Question 2. What is the rate per 1,000 views, and who sets it?
Almost everywhere the campaign owner sets the rate and the platform only prints it on the card. What matters is that the rate is printed before you submit and does not change after the start: that is how DareBay, Whop, Vyro and Klipni work. Vues shows rates only inside the app, Reach.cat gives different ranges on different pages, Prime Oracles and Clipping.io publish no examples.
Question 3. What is the view threshold?
The threshold is the number of views below which a clip pays nothing at all. Vyro sets 5,000 per post, Clipping.net 1,000 per post and usually 25,000 per campaign, DareBay typically 2,000 per clip; Whop has no threshold but the brand sets a minimum payout per video. A 5,000-view threshold at $1 per 1,000 means the first $5 of every clip are never paid.
Question 4. What is the cap per clip?
The cap limits what one clip can earn, and it is what cuts your income on a viral clip. On Vyro a clip stops earning after 1 million views, Whop campaigns show maximums of $400–$600 per video, and a typical DareBay contest caps one submission at $100, with the largest campaigns up to $500. A cap is the price of a budget that lasts for everyone; what matters is that it is written in advance.
Question 5. What is the fee on the payout?
Whop's terms take 10% of CPM payouts and its FAQ describes tiers from 25% down to 7%. Klipni takes 5%. Vues and Reach.cat charge the brand, and the clipper only a processing fee on withdrawal. DareBay takes 0% on contest payouts and 10% on balance withdrawals. Clipping.net and Vyro publish no clipper fee, which is a question for support.
Question 6. What is the minimum payout, and how fast is it?
Whop has no minimum; a clip earns for 7 days after approval plus a 3-day hold. Vyro has a $10 minimum and pays once every 7 days after the campaign ends. Prime Oracles has a $5 minimum in USDT. Klipni has no minimum and pays within 5 business days. DareBay takes requests from 10 USDT, processed manually. Clipping.net and Vues name no minimum.
Question 7. How do they pay?
Check that you can actually receive the rail. Whop pays to bank, PayPal, mobile wallets and crypto; Vyro only PayPal or Stripe; Clipping.net PayPal or USDC/USDT on Ethereum; Vues USDT, Solana, BTC, PayPal or bank; Reach.cat USDT; Prime Oracles USDT or USDC; Klipni a card through self-employed status; DareBay USDT on TON or Telegram Stars.
Question 8. Do I need followers, an application or documents?
Followers are required almost nowhere: Whop, Clipping.net, Vues, Reach.cat, Klipni and DareBay say so directly. An application is needed on some Whop and Vues campaigns. Identity verification is required at Whop before payouts and, according to its app, at Reach.cat before withdrawal. Klipni requires Russian self-employed status. DareBay requires none of these to take a brief.
Question 9. Where does the budget sit while I clip?
If the budget sits with the platform before clips are posted, the promise to pay does not depend on the client's mood. Whop holds the brand's budget against the campaign, Klipni takes prepayment, Prime Oracles freezes the reward balance, and DareBay locks the budget in wallet-backed contests and labels the manual-payout contests where the organizer pays. Vues states that it does not custody funds; Clipping.net, Reach.cat and Clipping.io do not say.

Frequently asked questions
Which question should I start with?
Country. If a platform cannot pay you, the other eight questions do not matter. Then rate, threshold and cap, because they decide what a clip pays, and only then the fee and the payout rails.
What if a platform does not publish something?
Ask support before your first clip and keep the answer. A missing number is also information: a platform that does not publish its fee or its country list keeps the right to change them.
Can I calculate a payout in advance?
Yes, when the rate, threshold and cap are known: payout = rate × views ÷ 1,000, nothing below the threshold and nothing above the cap. Every DareBay task card carries all three numbers before you submit.
Should I sign up on several platforms?
Yes. Campaigns run out on every platform, and two or three sources of briefs keep you working. Check a campaign's exclusivity rules before posting the same clip twice.
Which platform is best for a beginner with no followers?
One that needs no followers and prints the rate, threshold and cap on the campaign, so that the first clip can be calculated before it is cut. From Russia, Belarus and Ukraine the choice narrows to the platforms that pay in the region.
