Is Wondeed legit? What its own pages show (2026)
Wondeed publishes clear rules for clippers, from tier rates of ₹5 to ₹10 per 1,000 views to a 72-hour hold, UPI payouts requested from ₹500 and tax deducted at source, but not the company behind them: its legal entity reads "Wondeed", its GSTIN "To be updated" and its court clause "[Registered City]". We found no independent reviews either way. Here is what each of its pages said on 18 September 2026, and three checks you can run yourself.
Who is behind Wondeed
Wondeed presents itself as "India's first performance-based short-form video clipping marketplace" 1. Its press page gives 2025 as the founding year and describes an "early-stage team", "India · Remote-first" 2, while the about page names nobody 3. Contact is by email, with separate addresses such as trust@wondeed.com and grievance@wondeed.com 4, and the terms, privacy, refund and grievance pages are all public.
What those pages leave open is the company. The terms say "Wondeed is operated by Wondeed" and date from 1 May 2025 5, and the GST page lists the legal entity as "Wondeed" and the GSTIN as "To be updated" 6. That says nothing about payouts either way; it means the payer's name has to come from a document you receive, described in the TDS section below.
Wondeed, wondeea.com and other lookalike names
On 18 September 2026 Trustpilot had no page for wondeed.com, and the reviews under an almost identical spelling belong to wondeea.com, a separate website. That day wondeed.com served only the clipping marketplace: addresses a web shop would use, such as a contact or products page, led to its sign-in screen. We found no Wondeed app in Google Play or the App Store; the help centre describes sign-up on the website with an Indian mobile number and a one-time code 7.
Tier card: ₹5, ₹7 or ₹10 per 1,000 views
The clipper page prints the rates in one line: "Rates: Standard ₹5 / 1K views · Medium ₹7 / 1K · High ₹10 / 1K. Actual rates vary by campaign. No ceiling — a viral clip keeps earning as long as views come in." 8 The ₹90 per 1,000 on the home page belongs to an illustrated campaign brief, not to that card 1. Which row you can reach depends on your tier:
| Tier | Campaigns open to you | Active at once | Payout window |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 · New Clipper | standard-earning | up to 3 | 14 days |
| 2 · Verified | adds medium-earning | up to 8 | 7 days |
| 3 · Top Performer | all, with "higher per-view rates" | unlimited | 3-day fast-track |
The table condenses the clipper page, which adds that "Tier moves are reviewed monthly" 8. A brand on the free plan reaches Tier 1 only 9, the tier you join a campaign at "is the rate you're paid for the duration" 4, and open campaigns appear only after sign-up, "filtered to your Tier" 10.

| ClipGrowIndian clippers who want rupee campaigns paid to UPI with no follower minimum | 1,000 views per clip on the live campaigns; the terms say every campaign brief sets its own minimum2 | each campaign sets a maximum payout per clip, shown on the clipper page: ₹2,000 on the three live campaigns and ₹5,000 on the closed one on 2026-09-18; views above it are counted but not paid3 | nono: the brand pays 40% of the commitment upfront and the remaining 60% as the first tranche runs down; unspent money is refunded on five days' notice4 | views are read from Instagram's Insights API or the YouTube Data API — no screenshots or self-reported numbers; Instagram needs a Professional account, added to a Meta tester list while ClipGrow's app is in review; every clip is reviewed by hand against the brief and must carry a CTA5 | UPI to GPay, PhonePe or Paytm from ₹500 a run; its pages give three schedules: every Sunday (home and clipper page), a monthly cycle (terms and campaign pages), month-end lock and payment by the 7th (guides)5 |
| DareBayclippers in any country; biggest community in CIS | set per task (system default 1,000 views)2 | up to $500 per clip2 | partlywallet-backed contests: locked before start; manual-payout contests: organizer pays directly8 | independent reading of the public view counter, hold on suspicious dynamics9 | USDT on TON, Telegram Stars; per-contest alternatives (card, bank transfer, gift)5 |
The payout clock: 72-hour hold, ₹500, UPI
A view passes three checks before it becomes money: it is pulled from "the official Instagram Graph API and YouTube Data API", screened on "watch-time, engagement rate and view velocity", and held for 72 hours 4. You connect your account read-only ("without it, you can't earn"), a clip's approval "usually takes 24–48 hours" 10, and the clip must stay public while it is tracked 5.
Once the balance passes ₹500 you request a payout to a UPI ID linked to "a valid Indian bank account" 7. The transfer time depends on the page: "within 7 days" in the clipper FAQ and a "14-day payout window" for Tier 1 on the same page 8, "within 7 business days of a payout request" in the terms 5. Nothing is taken from you, "0% taken from clippers" 9; clips keep earning for 7 days after a brand ends a campaign 11, and views earned before a network removes a clip "are still paid" 8.
How Wondeed makes money
"Wondeed earns from subscriptions, never from your view payouts," says the pricing page: Pro is free, Premium ₹8,000 a month and Enterprise ₹20,000, and a campaign starts at ₹20,000 9. The terms call this charge a "platform fee to Brands, separate from the campaign budget deposited" 5, invoiced with GST at 18% 6. The budget itself sits in what Wondeed calls an escrow wallet and moves "only after each view passes all three verification layers" 4; the privacy policy lists Meta, Google and Supabase as processors but does not name the payment processor 12.
The terms, the GST page and the grievance officer
For a clipper the terms cover the essentials: 18 or over and "an Indian resident"; Wondeed's view count "is final"; unpaid earnings are forfeited on termination "for cause" and paid on termination "without cause"; liability is capped at three months of payments 5. Two fields remain unfilled. Disputes go to "the courts of [Registered City], India" and may first be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 5, and the GSTIN reads "To be updated" 6.
The grievance page says it follows Rule 3(2) of the IT Rules, 2021. The page and the rule, side by side:
| Wondeed's grievance page | Rule 3(2)(a), IT Rules 2021 |
|---|---|
| Name: "Grievance Officer, Wondeed"; email: grievance@wondeed.com; response time: "Within 24 hours (acknowledgment)"; resolution: "Within 30 days of receipt" 13 | "the name of the Grievance Officer and his contact details"; "acknowledge the complaint within twenty-four hours and resolve such complaint within a period of fifteen days" 14 |
TDS: what Wondeed deducts and what the certificate shows
Where ClipGrow's terms leave tax to the clipper, Wondeed says it deducts first: "Clippers earning above the TDS threshold under Section 194-O of the Income Tax Act, 1961 will have TDS deducted at the applicable rate before payout", with "Form 26AS-reconcilable TDS certificates" 6. It names neither the threshold nor the rate. Section 194-O covers goods or services "facilitated by an e-commerce operator through its digital or electronic facility or platform" 15, and for payments since 1 April 2026 the Income Tax Act, 2025 applies, with TDS rates and thresholds that "have been retained" 16.
The deduction is also the one check no web page can offer, because a TDS certificate names whoever deducted. The Form 16A template on the TRACES portal shows the "Name and address of the deductor", its PAN and TAN, and the "PAN of the deductee" 17, and the credit lands in your annual tax statement, which for tax year 2026-27 the department says will be Form No. 168 16. Wondeed's privacy policy lists a mobile number and a UPI ID as the identity and payout data it collects and does not mention PAN 12, so ask before your first payout how a deduction will be credited to you.
If a brand rejects your clip
Brands get 72 hours to reject a clip, and the home page says the view payout then "reverses automatically" 1. The refund policy puts it differently for money already credited: earnings "once verified and credited to a Clipper's account balance, are non-refundable to the Brand", including views earned before a rejection inside that window 18. To contest a rejection, the trust page offers "a second-pair-of-eyes review" within 48 hours 4, the help centre shows the reason and frees your campaign slot 7, and the grievance address takes "payment disputes" 13. With two written versions of one event, screenshot your dashboard at each step.
Where Wondeed is the better pick than DareBay
Wondeed is the better pick when:
- you live in India and want rupees in a bank account through UPI. DareBay pays out in USDT on the TON network or in Telegram Stars, which Telegram's terms do not let you sell or withdraw from a personal balance 19;
- you would rather keep virtual digital assets out of the picture: the 30% tax on their gains 20 is covered in the country view on clipping platforms that pay in India;
- you want a published clock and tax deducted for you, whereas DareBay has each withdrawal request checked by a person and promises no settlement time;
- you want no platform cut: Wondeed takes 0% from clippers, and DareBay takes nothing from a task budget but 10% of each withdrawal request, deducted inside it, with requests from 10 USDT.
DareBay is the better pick when you are not an Indian resident, since it keeps no country list; when you are new, because a Wondeed beginner starts at Tier 1 on ₹5 per 1,000 views, three campaigns and a 14-day window, while a new DareBay account takes a task on the same terms as anyone, with no application or follower count; when you post on TikTok, which Wondeed calls "planned but not available yet" 7, or prefer to submit a link rather than connect an account; and when the rate decides it: open DareBay tasks pay $1.00–$10.00 per 1,000 views with a cap of up to $500 per clip, next to Wondeed's ₹5–₹10, each in its own currency. The same questions about ClipGrow are answered in the ClipGrow review; the platform comparison ranks the global boards, and how much clipping pays covers the per-view arithmetic.
Wondeed was read on 18 September 2026 from its own pages: home, clippers, brands, pricing, FAQ, trust, terms, privacy, refund, GST, grievance, help centre, creator guide, about and press. Tabs that only appear in a browser were read from the scripts those pages load.
Indian law is quoted from the Income Tax Department, TRACES, the Union Budget memorandum and MeitY. Review sites and forums served only to find the questions readers ask; no rating or complaint is repeated here. Rupee amounts are not converted to dollars, and DareBay's figures come from its live data and help pages.
Competitor figures are taken from each platform’s own public pages on the date shown; DareBay figures come from live platform data. Updated: .

Frequently asked questions
Is Wondeed legit?
Wondeed publishes working rules: tier rates, a 72-hour hold, UPI payouts requested from ₹500, a dispute route and a grievance address 8. It does not publish who runs it, and we found no independent reviews either way. Three checks help: a first payout at the ₹500 minimum, the deductor named on your TDS certificate once tax is deducted, and a written answer from grievance@wondeed.com.
Is Wondeed the same as wondeea.com?
No. Wondeed is the clipping marketplace at wondeed.com; reviews filed under wondeea.com, one letter apart, concern a different website.
What is Wondeed's rate for 1,000 views?
The clipper page lists ₹5 for standard, ₹7 for medium and ₹10 for high-earning campaigns, adding "Actual rates vary by campaign"; new clippers start at Tier 1, which opens standard campaigns only 8. The ₹90 on the home page is an illustration.
How long do Wondeed UPI payouts take?
After the 72-hour hold you request a payout from ₹500. The clipper FAQ says "within 7 days", Tier 1 carries a 14-day window and Tier 3 a 3-day fast-track 8, and the terms say 7 business days 5.
Does Wondeed deduct TDS from clippers?
Its GST page says it deducts TDS under Section 194-O above a threshold it does not state and issues certificates that reconcile with Form 26AS 6. You still file your own return.
Who owns Wondeed?
It is not published. The terms say Wondeed "is operated by Wondeed" 5, the GST page leaves the GSTIN "To be updated" 6, and the press page gives only the founding year, 2025 2.
