Why clips get rejected and views go unpaid: ten reasons

A rejected clip and a clip that has not earned yet are two different problems: the first needs a new video, the second usually just needs the threshold or the next sync. Here are the ten reasons an organizer takes a clip down, the six situations where the views are there and the money is not, and a checklist that leaves nothing to argue about.

Ten reasons a clip gets rejected

The organizer takes a clip down, and the form demands a reason. Four common ones are presets: "Doesn't match the task", "Missing hashtag", "Fake views", "Someone else's video", the rest typed in.

  1. Off the task terms. "Doesn't match the task": wrong format or length, the product or moment the task is about is missing, no required mention. Reread the card, make a new clip.
  2. Someone else's footage or a repost. "Someone else's video": downloaded from another clipper, reposted from a channel, or built on an edit that is not yours. Cut from the task materials or shoot your own.
  3. No hashtag or no link. "Missing hashtag": the tag from the terms is not in the caption. Its twin: a live video missing from the task because no link was sent and no account is connected. Tag as you post, then check your list of works.
  4. Account not connected or off-topic. Clips from an account not connected to the task never enter it, and a themed task drops clips from an off-topic profile. Connect the account before posting.
  5. Wrong site. The task names the site: TikTok, Shorts or Reels. A clip elsewhere cannot be counted; an Instagram photo post has no view counter. Post where the task says.
  6. Timing. Posted before the task started or after submissions closed; views after the final data collection do not count either. Post inside the "Starts" and "Until" window.
  7. Duplicates of one clip. The same clip on two accounts or twice in one task: the extra copy is skipped or removed, and a run of copies looks like dodging the cap. One clip, one submission.
  8. Prohibited content. The clip breaks the prohibited content rules or the site's own. These are not restored, so check the material before posting.
  9. Fake views. "Fake views": one sync tick delivered almost all the growth, bought traffic, an account farm. The clip is flagged, the payout stops, moderation can remove it. Honest spike? Send the organizer the source link.
  10. Link to a private or deleted video. "Video unavailable": deleted, hidden, private or blocked by the site, so no counter can be read. Keep the clip public until the payout; restore it if deleted by accident.

Views but no payout

Accepted clip, growing counter, flat amount. Six causes, none a reason to redo the clip.

What you seeWhyWhat to do
"N views to threshold"Threshold not cleared: typical "Min views" 2000, system default 1000Wait; past it the whole counter is paid
A lower figure than on the siteViews update several times a day, see "Last sync"; fresh earnings mature for 24 hNothing, the sync catches up
"Per-work cap reached"The cap on one submission, usually $100, is full: views keep coming, money does notA new clip has its own cap
"Pool exhausted"Other clips used up the task fund; posting is still allowed, paying is notCheck "Fund exhausted at", take another task
"Under review", "Payout stopped by a flag"The clip is being checked; accrual pauses until a person decidesWait, no duplicates; if it drags on, ask support
"Stats appear after the first sync", "Video unavailable"Views not confirmed: no sync yet, or the clip or profile is closedOpen both, wait for the next sync

Say 20,000 views at $1.00 per 1000: 20,000 / 1000 × $1.00 = $20.00, below the $100 cap, so it is credited in full. Threshold mechanics and the route of the money to your wallet: how pay-per-view works.

How to submit so it is not rejected

  1. Read the whole card: site, format, length, hashtag, mention, account requirements, date window.
  2. Connect the account to the task before posting; keep the profile public.
  3. Cut from the task materials or shoot your own; never someone else's clip.
  4. Hashtag and mention go in the caption as you post, not "later".
  5. Post on the named site inside the task window; on Instagram, video only.
  6. Send the link, or check the clip was picked up from the connected account, before entries close.
  7. Until the payout, leave the clip alone: no deleting, no closing the profile, no buying views.

Both routes, step by step: submit your work.

What to do if you disagree

Reread the terms and the rejection reason in your cabinet, point by point: half of all disputes end here. Sure the clip qualifies? Write to the organizer from the task, briefly, with facts; no answer or a debatable reason, write to support. Attach links to the submission and the clip, the task id, screenshots of the caption with hashtag and date and of the site's stats, the repost link for a spike dispute, the task materials for "Someone else's video".

A person does the review, no deadline is promised, and the outcome is guaranteed in neither direction. A flag is a pause, not a verdict; its outcomes are in protection from view fraud.

Frequently asked questions

Are the views on a rejected clip lost?

They stay on the site, but a rejected clip takes no part in the task and is excluded from your cabinet's count. They cannot move: one link per submission. Its reserve returns to the task fund.

Can I fix the clip and submit it again?

A rejected submission cannot be edited: a fixed clip is a new post and a new submission while entries are open. Remove the reason first; the same clip unchanged is a duplicate.

How long does a review take?

No fixed term: a review is a pause until a person decides; the status shows on the task card. Stuck for long? Write to support with the task id and submission link; do not create a second one.

Why does my cabinet show fewer views than TikTok?

The counter updates several times a day; the last sync time sits next to the submission. The cabinet shows validated views, and fresh earnings mature for 24 h before you can claim them.

Read the card first and skip the rejection

A DareBay task card names the site, the hashtag, the date window, the threshold and the cap before the start, not after. Walk the seven points above, publish on the site the task names and send the link, and the clip clears review the first time.
