A worked example
At the median rate of $0.50 per 1000 views with a $50 cap per submission:
- The clip reaches 5,000 views: $0.50 * 5,000 / 1000 = $2.50
- The clip reaches 20,000 views: $0.50 * 20,000 / 1000 = $10.00
- The clip reaches 100,000 views: the formula gives $50, and the cap holds it at $50
The cap applies to each submission separately. Enter several contests, or several submissions where that is allowed, and each is counted on its own with its own cap. Two clips at the cap is $100.
This is arithmetic on the inputs. The rate, threshold and cap are set by the buyer when the contest is created, and all three are open on the card before you submit.

How high is the view threshold?
